Pike Road Holds Easter Egg Hunt
With Easter just around the corner, the children of Pike Road got the opportunity to grab their Easter baskets and find as many eggs as they could today.
There were 20,000 eggs hidden and four different Easter egg hunts for children of all ages. They had six different kinds of inflatables for the kids along with face painting, egg decorating, and even then Easter bunny himself! A lot of the members donated the eggs for this event.
Angie Gonyo, Children’s Ministry Director for Frazer Pike Road Campus said, “We wanted to make it an event that wasn’t just come hunt eggs and go home, but come and have some fellowship too. Meet the people from Maine, and what they do, and also come and meet some of us that are here and meet other people in the community that you may have never met. ”
Inside the eggs there were candy and religious items, but there was one golden egg in each age group with a grand prize.
