Brothers Arrested for Murder of Macon Co. Man

IMG_0212On Monday March 14, Macon County Sheriff’s Office requested the State Bureau Investigation (SBI) investigate the murder of Timothy Woods.

The SBI, with the assistance of Macon County Sheriff’s Office, developed probable cause to arrest brothers Willie and Derrick Brown in Woods’ murder.

Murder warrants for the Brown brothers were obtained Friday, March 25. The same day SBI Agents were able to arrest Willie Brown, with the assistance of Macon County Sheriff’s deputies and Federal Probation personnel.

Derrick Brown surrendered to the Macon County Sheriff’s Office approximately two hours after his brother’s arrest.

No charges have yet to be filed against the brothers.
