High pressure moves east of us allowing a southerly flow to set up across the area the rest of this week. This will bring in the moisture and lead to a wet pattern starting late Wednesday and continuing through early Friday. Rainfall could be quiet generous with 1-3 inch totals. There still remains a severe storm threat with this system and we could deal with that Thursday afternoon into the evening hours. Main threats will be storms producing damaging winds, very heavy rain, and possibly a few tornadoes. The clouds and rain depart just in time for the start of the upcoming weekend. You can expect lots of sunshine with cool morning and mild afternoons.
