Trojans blank Hornets 8-0
TROY, Ala (bamastatesports.com) – The Alabama State baseball team lost at Troy 8-0 Tuesday night at Riddle-Pace Field.
The Hornets (16-11) managed just three hits, as Eriq White, Hunter Phillips and Nate Gerard each singled for Alabama State.
Troy (14-12) took advantage of eight walks by ASU pitching, leading to six runs in the second and third innings.
Alabama State returns to action Wednesday in a 6 p.m. game at Jacksonville State, with a live radio broadcast on the ASU Hornet Sports Network.
