Entertainer Steve Harvey Partners with Alabama State University for Turkey Day Classic
Dozens of people visited Alabama State University Saturday anticipating a special announcement by entertainer Steve Harvey.
Harvey is partnering with the university as they begin organizing their annual Turkey Day Classic. ASU’s Turkey Day Classic will be on Turkey Day this year and ASU president Gwendolyn Boyd says that’s only half the excitement. Harvey says he wants to bring a touch of Hollywood to the University.”
“If more people learn about what’s going on down here at Alabama State we can increase enrollment because it really is a fine university. If you look at this campus and the you look at the facilities here this is top notch of any type of university that there is,” says Harvey.
