45th Annual Calico Forts Arts and Crafts Fair

CALICOFORTFAIR PICMany people today enjoyed the beautiful weather by attending the 45th Annual Calico Forts Arts and Crafts Fair.

The group expected thousands to show up for the event and they were certainly prepared. The lions club cooked up 18 hundred pounds of crawfish.
It wasn’t just food on the menu, there was also fun with live music and plenty of vendors around.
Organizers say it’s great to bring the town together for a positive reason.

The Executive Director of the Central Alabama Crawfish Festival Russell Haskell said, “Looking around out here today and seeing all these people come together in a community in a small town of Alabama, it’s an overwhelming feeling that everybody comes together we have a good time and money goes to a good cause. ”
All the money raised today will go toward glasses to those who can’t afford them
