A group of protesters stood outside the governor’s mansion Saturday, hoping to have their voices heard and they didn’t come empty handed.

The group brought several household cleaning items with them. They say they are fed up with Governor Robert Bentley after allegations of inappropriate behavior with former aide, Rebekah Mason. They say they want him to resign, so they can clean out the Governor’s Mansion. They also want speaker of the house Mike Hubbard to resign-who is charged with almost 2 dozen ethics violations.

“One of the best products you can get to shout out some germs and some stains and whatever happens the infidelity left a stain, if no indictment comes down,” says protester Frank Matthews.

Some lawmakers are working to move the impeachment process forward. Its been about a century since the last time the process has happened. Representatives are still working out details.
