Teachers Urge Demopolis Middle School Students to Do Their Best in Testing
With standardized testing going on this month across Alabama, teachers are finding creative ways to urge students to do their best on the tests.
Teachers at Demopolis Middle School have come up with a song and video to relieve students of some of the pressure and stress testing week brings on students. The song that teachers came up with is based off the song “Hit the Quan” by iHeartMemphis.
Counselor Traci Pearson and broadcasting teacher Meggin Mayben thought it was a great way to motivate students who’ll be taking the ASPIRE test next week. It took a day and-a-half and the cooperation of others at the school to create the video. Other than the broadcasting students, Mayben told Alabama News Network, no other children even knew about the video until it was unveiled.
