Tuskegee cancels Thursday’s softball plans
TUSKEGEE, Ala. (goldentigersports.com) — The Thursday doubleheader against fifth-ranked North Alabama, scheduled to be played at Tuskegee, has been canceled due to the forecast over the next 24-36 hours.
After heavy rains across the area late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, meteorologists are calling for more rain in the area during the evening hours on Wednesday and into Thursday. The games will not be made up this season as Tuskegee finishes up the regular season with nine games in seven games.
Tuskegee (13-27, 11-4 SIAC) returns to action Saturday afternoon against LeMoyne-Owen in a Southern Inrtercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) doubleheader beginning at 1 pm. The series will conclude on Sunday at 12 noon.
