City of Troy Prepares for Troy Fest 2016
Preparations are underway for Troy Fest 2016.
The festival showcases the work of local artists including students. Several vendors are expected to fill Troy’s downtown square along with thousands of people for the festival. Downtown businesses and hotels have spent most of the week preparing for the festival.
“We are extremely excited. Each year seems to get bigger and bigger and I think that says a lot for the Troy Fest Committee and the people that put on Troy Fest and the artist that come to Troy Fest,” says Lyndsay Taylor of Sips on the Square.
Troy Fest kicks off Saturday morning at 9 and will run until 5 pm. Sunday, the festival starts at 10 am and ends at 4 pm. Admission is free.
