A cold front sits just to our NW tonight. Ahead of this system showers and t-storms can be expected through Tuesday afternoon. This frontal boundary clears the area Tuesday night and this allows drier air to spill into the area. A weaker front moves into the region Wednesday but we believe it stays dry around here. Much cooler air flows in behind the second front later this week. We could see morning low in the upper 40s to lower 50s Thursday and Friday. It can’t stay cool for long with our May sunshine in full force this weekend. You can expect highs back in the mid 80s and lows in the 60s again. At this point, it looks like a rather dry weather pattern over the weekend and continuing into early next week.
