Barlow accepts Virginia State University’s Head Football Coach Offer
MONTGOMERY, Ala (AlabamaNews.Net) — Montgomery native and former Alabama State University standout wide receiver and head coach Reggie Barlow is set to be introduced in Ettrick, Virginia Thursday morning as the next head coach of the Virginia State University football team.
Barlow is leaving Montgomery late Wednesday afternoon for an 11:30am news conference in Virginia.
It’s been a tumultuous few months for the current Sidney Lanier High School Head coach, who briefly considered the same position at Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia, before deciding on the Lanier post on March 17th.
Barlow is set to speak to AlabamaNewsNet’s Ben Bolton and Katherine Donnelly prior to his flight this afternoon.
