VSU introduces Montgomery’s Reggie Barlow as Trojans’ new football coach
ETTRICK, Va. (AlabamaNews.Net) — Montgomery native Reggie Barlow’s new job is now official.
Virginia State University’s president and athletic director presented the 43 year old Barlow as the Trojans new Head Football Coach Thursday morning.
Barlow will be the third coach in as many seasons in Ettrick, inheriting a team that went 6-4 last season.
” My word is change is the new norm,” said Barlow after his introductory news conference. ” These guys are going to leave here and maybe go to the NFL or maybe go and work for IBM and their boss may change but you just have to stay on your process and you have to keep working.”
Barlow becomes the 25th head coach in Virginia State’s history and prepares for his debut September 3rd, on the road in North Carolina at Lenior-Rhyne.
