Prattville’s Annual CityFest drew thousands of people to it’s downtown area during the weekend.
The festival started Friday evening and ended Saturday evening. It included dozens of vendors, entertainment, food, and animals. Chamber members say funds raised for the event helps the community continue it’s growth. During this year’s CityFest, Crimestoppers also benefited from funds raised at their dunking booth.
“We just have a dedicated crowd that loves to come out. It’s a family fun event. We like to showcase our city and everybody knows that it happens in May so they look forward to it,” says Patty Vanderwall, President of the Prattville Chamber of Commerce.
This was the 30th year of the festival. Chamber members say it seemed to their biggest crowd.
