Selma Shooting Leaves One Dead and One Behind Bars
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
A Selma man is behind bars for capital murder after a shooting Wednesday night in Selma.
Lt. Sam Miller says 21 year old Carloyd Moss of has been arrested and charged with capital murder.
Miller says officers responded to a shooting on the 100 block of Cummings Circle and found a man sitting in a car with a gunshot in the head.
“Our understanding is he had just gotten back from Texas not too long ago and had installed a sound system in the vehicle.
He was kind of showing it off. He was sitting in the vehicle, the windows were rolled partially down and it appears somebody walked up and shot him through the back passenger window. He had one gunshot wound behind his left ear,” said Miller.
Moss is being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond.
