Opening Ceremonies for Alabama Special Olympics State Games Kick Off
The Alabama Special Olympics State Games opening ceremonies kicked off at Troy University Friday night.
Thousands of athletes are participating in the games this weekend along with hundreds of volunteers from across the state. City of Troy and University officials welcomed athletes to Trojan Arena. Several competitions start Saturday at 9 am on Troy University’s campus. This is the 10th year the games have been held at Troy University.
Closing ceremonies are Sunday morning at nine.
