State Troopers Warn Drivers About Safety

This weekend marks the unofficial start to summer, and with millions of people on the roads it’s a busy time busy time for Alabama State Troopers. The biggest scare for troopers is traffic deaths. ALEA says eight people died in car accidents last memorial day weekend. Many of those deaths were due to wreck less or drunk driving, or not taking required safety precautions. State troopers also say this year will be a challenge, because of the lack of funding, which means less troopers on the roads. They say that’s the main reason why they want to inform you the viewer through this story so you can save your own life, and others.
