Single Vehicle Crash Claims Life of Bullock Co. Man

A single-vehicle crash at 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 30, took the life of a Midway man.

Bernard Jackson, 59, was killed when the Ford Expedition he was driving left Bullock County 106, approximately 15 miles northwest of Union Springs, and overturned. Jackson, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation indicates alcohol may have been a factor.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
