Tuskegee’s City Pool the Topic of Discussion for Mayor Johnny Ford

Mayor Johnny Ford will hold a Press Conference on Thursday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m., at the Tuskegee Municipal Complex to discuss the need to enhance the recreational opportunities offered by the City’s Department of Recreation, particularly the need to have the City’s swimming pool open during this summer.

The Press Conference will be followed by a Town Hall Meeting, which the citizens of Tuskegee are all invited to attend, in order to discuss and find solutions for these needs.

According to Mayor Ford, “Not only must we save the swimming pool, so that it can be reopened this summer, but we must come together, and stand up for full time recreation in our city for the children of Tuskegee. We must send a message to the City Council that recreation for our children must become a priority for the City of Tuskegee.”
