Meteorological Summer Begins!
Meteorological summer (June,July,& August) is underway and it definitely has the look and feel of it. For the remainder of the workweek temps will top out in the low to mid 90s. Some relief from the heat will come in the form of isolated showers or t-storms. Over the upcoming weekend we see a much better chance of shower and t-storm coverage. The best chance will come as a disturbance moves through the area Sunday. Early next week another ridge of high pressure settles over the region and we get back to sunny and mainly dry conditions.
