Montgomery Man Sentenced to 25 Years for Murder of Cousin
A 26-year-old man convicted of killing his cousin has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Nicktavus Pringle’s attorney has argued that his cousin Demarcus Pringle had schizophrenia and attempted to stab him on the day of the murder.
Prosecutors say Nicktavus Pringle wasn’t in danger at the time of the shooting.
Pringle’s attorney Susan James said Wednesday that the sentence was excessive and she may seek a new trial.
