Summer Activities Available for Selma Area Youth
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
Kids in Selma are out of school and the entire community is pitching in to make sure there’s plenty for them to do this summer.
The city of Selma has more than a dozen activities and events planned this summer, geared towards area youth.
“My main focus is getting our kids out as a whole just doing activities throughout the summer,” said Senior/Youth Coordinator Venecia Eaton.
The city has also provided 246 kids with summer jobs with the help of local businesses.
