Victims Identified in Crash that Killed Four People

Authorities are investigating a wreck in Chilton County that left four people dead, including a Montgomery woman.

It happened Wednesday on US Highway 82, just south of Maplesville.  21-year-old Destini Davis of Montgomery was killed.  Three passengers, 22-year-old Tarlanda Davenport and 2 young children were also killed.  None were using seat belts or properly utilizing child restraints,  and all were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was injured and taken to a local hospital.

Authorities say the Nissan collided with the Mack before catching fire. The tractor trailer loaded with logs overturned and blocked U.S. 82 for hours.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
