Chance For Rain Returns
High clouds continue to stream overhead while it’s hot and dry at the surface. A ridge of high pressure remains a big player in our weather. The ridge will gradually work eastward allowing a southerly flow to set up. This will provide the fuel for daytime heating to ignite scat’d showers and t-storms. Where storms do occur the heat will be knocked down. That will be the only relief we will have over the next several days. Where storms don’t occur you can expect mostly sunny and hot conditions to prevail throughout the day.
