Chance For Rain Increases
A hot and humid air mass has a hold on our area early this week. Temps will top out in the 90s and heat index values will hover around 100. Relief from this heat will come in the form of scat’d showers and t-storms. Some will pack a punch with frequent lightning, brief heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds. A frontal boundary slides into the area late week. If this boundary makes it all the way through here, we could be looking at a milder weekend. Drier air would make for some comfortable morning with afternoon highs dropping back into the 80s. Let’s hope this works out!
