Troy University Tuition Rises

Parents and students will soon see a tuition increase at Troy University.

Last week the University’s Board of Trustees approved the increase. Tuition rates will be $301 per credit hour. That’s up from $287 per credit hour. University officials say state funds cover operational costs. But there’s still a shortage and they want to make sure Troy offers a quality education for students.

“Its a careful balance, it’s something that our board of trustees gives very careful considering when they deliberate about these issues,” says Senior Vice Chancellor, Dr. John Dew.

Troy will not increase tuition for it’s graduate and online undergraduate programs.
