Troy University’s Safe Zone Remember Orlando Victims
People across the U.S are mourning the loss of victims in the tragic Orlando shooting.
In Troy, a vigil was held on Troy University’s campus to remember this victims. People reflected in silence on the tragic event and also listened to speakers. Organizers say tit’s important for them to show continued support to the victims, their families, and others that grieve with them.
“To provide a safe space for anyone in our community who may be suffering or grieving the tragic, horrific act of terrorism and hatred,” says Dr. Patrick Faircloth.
Safe Zone a campus organization that offers a place of safety to all people at Troy University led the vigil.
