Biscuits lose pitching duel with Lookouts 1-0

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AlabamaNews.Net) – Hits were hard to come by for both Montgomery and Chattanooga Thursday night at Riverwalk Stadium, but the Lookouts were able to push across a single run in the second inning and it held as the Biscuits fell to Chattanooga by a final score of 1-0.

Biscuits’ starting pitcher Chie-Wei Hu’s only walk of the game to Travis Harrison would prove to be margin of difference, with Leonardo Reginatto RBI single to center brought Harrison home as Montgomery centerfielder Braxton Lee’s throwing error would be one of three of the evening for the Biscuits.

Hu falls to a 2-4 record on the year but with only a 2.01 ERA.

Ryan Eades got the win for Chattanooga, improving his won-loss ledger to 4-2.

Game 3 of the 5 game series gets underway Friday night at 7:05 as the Biscuits celebrate Public Safety Night as well as the usual Friday night fireworks.

Friday’s probable starters are Montgomery’s new import Hunter Wood vs Chattanooga’s David Hurlbut.
