A third person has been arrested in connection with a Selma murder case and authorities are describing the suspect as the second shooter.

Eighteen year old Ladarrius Dees is behind bars on charges that include capital murder in the death of Jermaine Tarver of Lowndesboro.

Authorities say Dees started shooting from a car after Vadarrius Hall opened fire on Tarver at a residence in Selma — Sunday afternoon.

They say Dees is also charged with attempted murder and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.

“This is a defendant that’s known to use violence on the streets and so we’re glad to get him off the streets,” said dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson.

Dees is being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond.

A preliminary hearing has been set for July 21st.
