Scat’d Showers & T-storms
A hot and muggy start to the weekend and there’s no change in this heat anytime soon. Mostly sunny skies will allow temps to climb into the mid and upper 90s. Humidity levels will be high so heat index values will hover between 100-105. A frontal boundary will be moving toward the region and this should increase the chance for scat’d showers and t-storms both days. Some of the storms that do occur will be capable of frequent lightning, gusty winds, and brief heavy rainfall. Try to keep cool and have a great weekend!
