40 Years Of Ham Radio In Montgomery

If you’ve ever considered getting into ham radio, then Saturday was your best chance.

For those of you how don’t know what ham radios are it’s basically an amateur radio where you can talk across town or even around the world without the internet.

The Montgomery Amateur Radio Club held an annual event to help people learn more about the hobby.

There were a few radio stations set up in trailers today. One of them used Morse code and the other ones used voice communication.

The Ham Radio event has been going on for around 40 years.

One of the uses is for emergency communications.
