Southeastern Underclassman Shootout set to begin Tuesday in Troy
TROY, Ala. (alabca.com)– The 1st Annual Southeastern Underclassman Shootout (SUS) will take place at Troy University June 28 – 30.
High School teams from the states of AL, GA, FL, LA, MS & TN consisting of classes of 2017 – 2019 baseball players will compete for the Gold Cup in playing regulation 7 inning games.
Each member of the first, second and third place teams will also receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals accordingly after Thursday’s medal round games.
Off-the-field players will attend seminars that will better prepare them for life in college and beyond.
The SUS orientation session for players, their parents and the coaches on Monday afternoon June 27 will have featured guest speaker Tony Robichaux, the highly successful & nationally known head baseball coach of University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
