Front Lingers Nearby

A frontal boundary will be lingering over the region through the rest of this week.  This will be the focal point for additional showers and t-storms each afternoon. T-storms that do develop will be capable of frequent lightning, brief heavy rain, and gusty winds.  Temps will hover in the lower to mid 90s for highs but storm activity will rain cool spots at times.  Looks like the front will retreat northward going into the weekend.  This should lessen the daily storm activity just a bit around here. Typical summer time heat, humidity, and isolated pm t-storms are the plan for the upcoming holiday weekend.
