U.S. Representative Martha Roby Speaks at ‘Eggs and Issues’ Breakfast
From protests to the investigation on the attacks in Benghazi. It’s been a busy two weeks for members of congress, especially for Alabama Congresswoman Martha Roby. Alabama Congresswoman Martha Roby spoke to a packed house for the Eggs and Issues Breakfast held by the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce. Roby spoke about several issues, including the recent Benghazi investigation reports released by the Congresswoman and other members of the Benghazi Investigation Committee. Some have questioned the timing of the report, claiming the committee released the report to hurt Hillary Clinton politically.
“The number one takeaway is that there is a whole lot of new information that fundamentally and substantially changes our understanding of what happened before, during, and after the attack, and that’s important,” says Roby.
We also asked Congresswoman Roby if she supports presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump. She says she’ll support the nominee, but still has concerns about whether Trump has the temperament to be President.
