Blackout Vigil Held In Downtown Montgomery

A group of people got together downtown to remember those across the nation who died this past week Sunday night.

A vigil was held at Southside Church of Christ.

About 100 people came out to worship together and reflect on bringing the community closer together.

“We have people that are concerned. We have people that are angry. We have people that are about ready to give up and they need an answer. There are several different types of solutions that have been given, but we understand that we need to start with God and that’s why we’re here today. To allow his presence to be a part of whatever we do next,” said Tim Anderson, minister at the church.
