Woman Charged with Leaving Baby in Car

Montgomery police say they have charged a woman with leaving a baby inside a car.

Police say they and fire medics responded to the 800 block of Ann Street about 10 a.m. on Saturday after the baby was discovered unattended in a vehicle. Police say the windows had been left cracked, and the vehicle was unlocked.

Police say 33-year-old Javonda Weeks was charged. The infant was placed with his father.
