Gov. Bentley and ALEA Secretary, Stan Stabler, to Visit the MPD

Governor Robert Bentley on Wednesday will join Secretary of Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Stan Stabler to visit the Montgomery Police Department and thank the law enforcement officers for their service and dedication.

This week Governor Bentley is honoring the men and women who willingly put themselves in harm’s way to protect us daily.

The Alabama State Capitol will be illuminated blue through Friday night to show appreciation for the 16,000 municipal, county and state law enforcement officers in Alabama and others across the nation.

The visit is scheduled to begin at 6:00 a.m.
