Crash on I-65/I-85 Causing Delays

Alabama State Troopers are working two separate crashes that are causing traffic delays this morning.

One crash is on I-85 south bound in Macon County at the 45 mile marker. It involves a vehicle fire. One lane is open at this time, but motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route. Exit 51 south bound is the closest exit to this crash.

The other crash is a vehicle collision in Lowndes County on I-65 at the 148 mile marker going south bound. The tractor trailer is off the roadway and the interstate will be shut down once the wrecker are on the scene to remove the crashed vehicle. Motorists should take alternate travel routes and avoid this area this morning.
