More Heat and Humidity

We had some isolated afternoon showers today as temperatures rose into the mid and upper 90s.  The heat advisory will be expiring at 9pm tonight as temperatures begin to fall after sunset.  The overnight low will be a humid 75 degrees with skies becoming mostly clear.  Tomorrow will be hot again, with temperatures rising into the mid 90s across the river region.  It looks like heat indexes won’t be quite as oppressive tomorrow, and as of right now we are not under a heat advisory.  It is still likely that heat indexes will be around 100 in the afternoon hours. Any storms that develop Sunday should remain isolated. Sunday night will be another warm evening with temperatures eventually falling into the mid 70s.  Temperatures will moderate a bit to start the work week, but won’t be noticeably cooler. Tuesday and Wednesday we will top out at around 94 degrees in Montgomery, with some spots staying in the lower 90s.  Better rain chances come our way for Thursday and Friday as an upper level disturbance approaches the area.  Next weekend will still be hot and humid, but not as hot as this weekend has been thus far.
