Scat’d Showers & T-storms
A disturbance along the gulf coast is sending moisture into the area. This moisture along with the daytime heating is leading to bands of showers/t-storms working northward. Some of the storms will produce frequent lightning and brief heavy rain. Most of the storm activity will weaken and die out during the evening hours. Looks quiet overnight but another round of showers and t-storms work across the area Wednesday. Where rain activity doesn’t occur you can expect hot and humid conditions to persist.
