Sales Tax Holiday Weekend Underway on Back-to-School Items
Alabama’s sales tax holiday weekend is underway on back-to-school items and other merchandise, such as diapers and some computers. From Friday, August 5 until midnight Sunday, August 7, the state is waiving its 4% sales tax on eligible clothes, school supplies and electronics.
