Clouds and rain lingering
The area of low pressure over the northern gulf coast region will continue to be a factor in our weather. The flow around the low is sending tropical moisture our way. This leads to daily showers and t-storms across the area. We don’t see this ending or tapering off until we get into the weekend. In the mean time, you can expect more of the same. Scat’d showers and t-storms with temps topping out in the mid to upper 80s for highs. Late in the weekend, we should see a return toward more limited rain activity but an increase in the heat. Yes indeed that 90 plus degree heat is coming back.
