Fewer Showers And Heating Up
The persistent area of low pressure just to our west continues to have a big influence on our weather. The flow around the low is sending gulf moisture into the region. We get a daily variety of showers and occasionally a few t-storms. The low is expected to drift more westward and away from us over the weekend. This movement will lessen its affects on our weather. We see fewer showers/t-storms both Saturday and Sunday. The loss of wide scale rain activity will allow the sun to heat temps back into those low to mid 90s. The hot and humid days of summer will be returning and sticking around through most of next week. Have a great weekend!
