AL Troopers Arrest Suspected Interstate Shooter
On Sunday, August 21, at approximately 3:43 p.m., ALEA Communications received a call from a motorist who reported that a subject in a white Chevrolet Suburban, armed with a hand gun, fired shots at him on Interstate 85 in Macon County.
The victim/caller followed the subject until a Trooper made contact with the subject off Interstate 85 in Montgomery County.
Troopers arrested the subject, who was identified as Morris A. Lottinger, 54, of Montgomery. Lottinger charged with driving under the influence and placed in the Montgomery County Jail.
The facts of the shooting incident will be presented to the Macon County D.A. for consideration of additional charges. Nothing further is available.
