Hot & Mainly Dry Weather Ahead

Looks like high pressure will be dominating our weather right through the upcoming weekend. This will put us under lots of sunshine and much drier air. The chance for any rain activity will be very slim. The dry air will heat up and that means 90 plus degree heat isn’t going away anytime soon. Bottom line, we stay sunny and hot well into next week. No signs of any fall-like weather conditions on the horizon. The tropics continue to be very active and there’s a disturbance that has us interested in its development. Right now, it’s moving into the Caribbean and from there no one knows exactly where it’s headed. Most models do agree it will continue a westward movement but will it be strengthening into something stronger, we just don’t know at this point. It’s basically a watch with interest and hope we don’t have something major in the gulf next week.
