4 Lady Hornets crack TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Top 20
CULVER CITY, Calif. (bamastatesports.com) – College soccer web site TopDrawerSoccer.com has released their top 20 conference individual player rankings for all Division 1 men’s and women’s programs in the NCAA.
The web site ranked all 31 Division I conferences with the 20 best players listed for each.
It has three separate editions updated throughout the season with preseason, midseason and postseason rankings.
Alabama State received strong recognition with four Lady Hornets named to the preseason listing including Ariela Lewis (No. 3), Aaliyah Lewis (No. 6), Emily Fleming (No. 13) and Kayla Edwards (No. 19).
Ar. Lewis has 28 goals and 19 assists in two full seasons while Aa. Lewis is the all-time leading scorer in school history with 45 goals and 24 assists in three full seasons.
Fleming started strong out of the gate with six goals and seven assists in her rookie campaign while Edwards has tallied 11 career goals and four assists in split time between playing the forward and defender positions.
