Continued hot & mainly dry !
We continue in a hot and mainly dry weather pattern around here this week. High pressure will be the dominate weather feature over us. Typical summer time conditions remain in place. Look for lots of sunshine along with temps topping out in the mid 90s. In the gulf there’s tropical depression number 9 and it’s going to be out there through late week. The system is expected to move northward but turn east before ever reaching the Alabama coast. We don’t see any significant impact from this system across our area. The winds could become a bit higher for a few days but that’s about it. Heaviest rain and storms will pass well to our south. Another frontal boundary will be moving through our region heading into the upcoming weekend. Drier air spills in behind the front and we get a pretty decent Labor Day weekend.
