Milder Weekend Ahead

High pressure continues to rule the weather around here. This means more sunshine along with hot temperatures. There will be a few showers or t-storms but most spots remain dry. This weather pattern sticks around through the workweek. In the gulf there’s tropical depression number nine and its heading toward tropical storm strengthen at anytime now. Looks like a landfall Thursday somewhere near the big bend of Florida. Around here there will little impact from the storm on our weather. We will see very nice conditions over the long holiday weekend. Much drier air spills into the region providing us comfortable mornings and milder afternoons.
