Whole Foods to Open in Montgomery in November
The organic foods store plans to open on November 10th.
An official representing Whole Foods told members of the city council at their meeting on Tuesday that the store plans to be open by November 10th of this year.
Griffith Waller with the city of Montgomery confirmed that a representative for the company made the announcement. The representative came before council members to apply for a retail beer/wine license for the store.
The Whole Foods store will be located at the Chase Corner shopping center off Taylor Road and Interstate 85. According to Whole Foods website, they are the world’s leader in natural and organic foods, with 455 stores in North America and the United Kingdom.
The opening of the Montgomery store is expected to bring with it up to 175 jobs.
