New Pharmacy Aims to Serve Residents of Montgomery’s Fairview Avenue

There’s now a new healthcare option for residents along Montgomery’s Fairview Avenue.

The Montgomery Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to the new Jones Drugs Pharmacy.  The local, independent pharmacy is part of the continued revitalization efforts along Fairview Avenue.

Owner James Jones says he wants to make the local community better by providing a more convenient, accessible pharmacy with an emphasis on personal service.

“If we know that you are sick and we know that you can’t get out and go to the grocery store and you need food, we’re going to make arrangements somehow to be apart of your life. You call us, we are your friend, we’re just not a business we are your friend.”

Jones says he also plans to donate money back into the local community as his business grows in the coming weeks and months.
